Planning your first Disney World vacation can be daunting. Expect this place to be big…bigger than Manhattan itself, even. Walt Disney World, What is it Exactly?
Walt Disney World is so large that it may seem impossible to decide what to do and how to do it. This is the reason why you need to plan your whole trip. Thankfully, planning is very easy.
The resort is comprised of the four great theme parks, two fantastic water parks, more than twenty resort hotels, and a vast range of restaurants and opportunities for fun recreation.
Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot are the four fascinating theme parks inside the resort. And not only that, there are 2 more parks – water parks, to be exact! – known as Blizzard Beach and Lagoon.
You’ll find Disney characters together with amazing fireworks, wonderful parades, and all the other Disney classic attractions at the Magic Kingdom. Epcot is devoted to technological innovation and the food and culture of eleven countries. Different kinds of animals and attractions can also be found in the Animal Kingdom in Disney, which is considered the largest animal-themed park around the world.
Families will surely enjoy the water parks. Blizzard Beach has one of the world’s highest and fastest waterslides, and in addition to super-fast waterslides, Typhoon Lagoon has rides for children on child-sized rafts, six-foot waves in the Surf Pool, and a Shark Reef for snorkeling with real sharks!

Every single one is themed, according to the magical world of Disney. You can walk along a seaside boardwalk, meet up with wild animals, visit New Orleans’ French Quarter, or relive pop culture from that long ago previous century, the Twentieth. Swimming pools are fantasies with pirate ships and sandy lagoons. Fanciful restaurants are staffed with popular Disney Characters.

Advance Planning
There are dining and recreation experiences at Disney World that require reservations, so make sure to reserve 180 days prior to your visit. Another awesome tool that gives a comprehensive info regarding restaurants and special events is the Disney’s Dining Finder.
Make sure to plan everything at least 6 months prior to your Disney World travel.

How can I apply to work as a Walt Disney World Makeup artist?
I will soon be graduating from a professional makeup artistry school here in Orlando, and I am very interested in working for the Walt Disney World theme parks as a makeup artist. How do I go about applying? I have searched their website, but there is no info on makeup artist positions. Please Help!
If they post their jobs online, then if there was a position available, that’s where it would be. If there is nothing posted, then they are not currently hiring makeup artists. Keep an eye on the site, checking it regularly, and then when a postion you like is posted, apply. Alternately, you can also find another job on the site that may not be your first choice, but will help you get a ‘foot in the door’ at Disney World, so that you can be gaining experience with the company as you wait for your dream job.
