Koko’s Bear Shop is located at Union Street in Ryde, just a short while away from the Isle of Wight Cottages. If you happen to be spending your vacations in Isle of Wight with your children, then this store is a must visit. Here, you will find all sorts of bears, amounting to over a hundred different types to choose from. From small token gifts, to serious collectors’ bears, to miniature mohair creations, right up to teddy bears for children, Koko’s Bear Shop has got it all. Visit the store’s newest addition, also known as Koko’s Bear Factory. Here, you and your children will be able to stuff your very own bear and then choose its attire and accessories from a wide range of little outfits. You can also choose to purchase a kit to make your own bear, which contains everything from the pattern, fabric, fillings, joints, eyes and recordable voice boxes and growlers. A visit to Koko’s Bear Shop is a must during your Isle of Wight holidays. It is great for children as well as adults who are young at heart.
Red Sun Shop
The Red Sun Shop can be found in Central Market at Scarrots Lane in Newport. You will be able to reach Central Market easily from the Isle of Wight Cottages either by car or by public transport like bus or train. A visit to the Red Sun Shop is very interesting not only or kids, but also for people of all ages, as the store houses Japan-related products, which means that you will get to buy everything from Nintendo, to Pokemon right up to the famous Hello Kitty dolls. Other interesting things to buy include cute pendants, clippers, necklaces and bracelets. You will also love the handmade cushions, pouches and handcrafted jewelry. Children will be spoiled for choice with retro video games like the Nintendo NES, Game boy and Game cube. You can also get a lot of Manga comics here. Other interesting things at the store include T-shorts, bags, earplugs and funky hair dye. Merchandise from Nightmare Before Christmas is also available here amongst many others. The store is open on Monday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thus, a visit to the Red Sun Shop is a must during your Isle of Wight holidays.
