The Latest Trends in Handmade Bracelets

Fortunately, silver is still in vogue, so you can hold onto your pennies or pence without sacrificing your penchant for jewellery by sticking with handmade bracelets made of silver. Silver is high-quality, and far less expensive than its golden cousins.
Back to nature: The “green” trend, too, is holding: “sustainable”, you might say. We think handmade bracelets are a perfectly sustainable expenditure, especially the handmade bracelets with the trendy motifs of leaves and flowers. Also trendy and, we think, somewhat (somehow?) tied to nature is the use in handmade bracelets of both silver and leather. Clamp these on your wrist, and think of Mother Nature.
Blushing beauty: Trendy handmade bracelets will be those with the season’s gemstone palette, particularly honeysuckle, which is Pantone’s colour of 2011. Gemstones in muted pastels – such as the peridot, the citrine, the milky green jade, or the champagne – are also fine additions to your handmade bracelets – that is, if you want to stay in style.
Mix it up: Our favorite trend in handmade bracelets is to mix and match. Yes, yes, we haven’t gotten over this one yet. This means you can stack up the handmade bracelets, piling your whole forearm with silver, leather, goldfill, links, bangles cuffs – all with or without gemstones – whatever fits, and whatever suits your fancy. Since silver is eminently affordable, as we’ve noted, why not wear more than one handmade bracelet. You’re sure to be the trendiest girl around!
