Theme Parties
When you are deciding a theme party, the biggest question is “which theme”? And this can take some time to decide upon. It helps to know what occasion you’re planning for, like for your child’s birthday, you would choose a superhero theme and not a renaissance theme. There are many fabulous themes to choose from and trust us, you will have a winning party on your hands.

For Children
Fairy Tale Parties
Children grow up with fairy tales and having a theme party based on their favourite fairy tale character would be a great hit with them. You can have a Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast theme party. Dressing up as pixies and gnomes will totally enthral the kids. A favourite with young girls is the Barbie Theme party. Dressing up as a Barbie in a fluffy pink dress is a dream of many young girls.
Super Hero Party
Which kid doesn’t have a super hero fantasy? From Superman to Spiderman, from The Hulk to the Fantastic Four, every child wants to be some superhero, so this theme party will definitely rock. You can have a few poster cut outs and design the invites and food around the theme.
Comic/Cartoon Characters
Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the new favourites, Shrek, The Incredibles or some more of the Looney Tunes are a great idea for a theme party. The all time favourite would have to be Tom and Jerry. So, why not plan accordingly and let them have a “Looney time”?
Jungle book Party
Animal antics are some things your boisterous child will be able to associate with, so if you want to go back to the jungle ways, a Jungle Book party is a great idea. Dressing up as different animals can be very entertaining and the children will enjoy the food if you cut them out in animal patterns or have animal based pastries and sandwiches.
For Adults (aka hidden child)
Eras Party
The 20s, 50s, 80s, etc, are a fun party theme. You can dress in flapper dresses for your 20s theme party or psychedelic flower power clothes for a 60s theme. You can do a little research and plan your food accordingly. Decorations can also be in the same strain and you should have an interesting party on hand. Masquerade Party
Masquerade parties are very famous, as they let you come as you want and the only extra thing you have to do is get a really interesting mask to cover your face. It is a lot of fun, as you don’t know who is behind the mask and searching for your friends can become an enjoyable task.
Hollywood Theme Party
Everyone wants to be a STAR and what better way to do this than to have a Hollywood Theme party? You can plan your music according to famous movie soundtracks. Hollywood movies can be very inspiring and there have been many famous characters, like Don Corleone, Star Wars characters, James Bond, etc. So go ahead and choose your favourite movie star and emulate him for that great theme party.
Superhero Party
Who said theme parties are only for children? Everyone needs to let their inner child out and, as such, superhero parties are for adults, too. You can come as Superman if you dare to wear your underwear on the outside or you can be the suave Batman. Everyone has their favourite superhero, so why not be him/her for one day and have fun?
Hawaiian Party
Come summer and Luaus are a great party idea. Everyone loves a great Hawaiian party, especially when it gets hot, that’s when everyone likes a good poolside party. You can get colourful leis and welcome your guests with a cool drink and decorate the area with palm tree cut-outs. Your menu can include a majority of seafood and get some Hawaiian music to set the tone of the party.

re-modeling bedroom. . .any ideas?
I am in highschool and currently my room looks like it is for a 6 year old. I have barbie wallpaper and princess junk all around. Plus there is flowered curtains and crap. I have convinced my parents to let me redo it, but i can’t buy new furniture.
Does anyone have any paint ideas, design ideas, etc. i can buy a new bed set or photo frames and stuff.
I really like organization and stuff, but don’t want my room to look like an office. I want something fun, yet relaxing to come home too. I was thinking light green or blue paint, but i am not sure.
by the way my room is really small. (11 feet by 11 feet, plus a small closet)
you NEED to check out pbteen, SUCH cute stuff. they also tell what the paint colors are on each page. here is one of my favorites, and it maximizes small rooms because underneath the mattress it has storage space.
