Scary Monkey Doll Question?

Ok, my mom was given some sort of monkey stuffed animal when she was a kid. Its always scared me cause its really creepy looking. Now we are trying to see if its worth anything or if there is even anything like it. Its an Ideal toy, it says on the tag. Its about a foot tall but doesnt stand on its own. It has brownish-red color fur and plastic(i think) hands and face, it also has red shoes that look sewn onto it.Its wearing a pink sweater with a few little blue and white strips at the top and bottom and is also wearing a blue scarf. Does anyone know wat im talking about?
